Conceived for Alcova Milano, the project engages contemporary material culture, articulated through two interlaced components. Rather than foregrounding finished products or technological innovation, Skin 100 & 1 concentrates on material states — how materials are encountered, relearned, and recalibrated through bodily interaction within shifting manufacturing, environmental, and cultural conditions.
Bringing together installation, materials in application, and archival publishing, the project forms a compact yet layered study of perception, habit, and material cycles. It positions skin as a site where matter, body, and time continually negotiate their relationship, while creating a temporary heterotopic condition in which visitors are invited to re-engage their senses, and reconsider the meaning of skin through the lens of Every Archive.
