Lacquer Paper brings natural lacquer with handmade paper through a process developed in our studio.
 
The lacquer seeps into the fibres, strengthening them while preserving the flexibility of the paper. The surface is dense yet responsive, allowing pigments to settle with depth and stability. It readily accepts a wide range of media, from watercolour and oil paint to pastel and mixed media, making it suitable for layered and experimental work. Naturally resistant to moisture and ageing, the material is well suited for works intended to endure. The surface remains matte and warm to the touch, offering a subtle tactile richness.
 
* Due to the handcrafted process, each sheet features gently irregular edges and slight variations in colour. Size variations of approximately 1–2 cm may occur.
