Crafted from natural lacquer sourced across East Asia and ultra-thin selected linen, each piece begins with a single sheet of fabric and one gram of lacquer. From stitching, shaping, drying, and polishing to over thirty hand-applied layers of lacquer, the making of each work unfolds over the course of two months.
 
Every layer is meticulously controlled to achieve strength without weight, resulting in a finished piece that weighs under 50 g.
 
*The surface is water-repellent, acid-resistant, and heat-resistant. To prolong its life, please avoid placing it in the fridge, dishwasher, or microwave.
