This horsehair brush is introduced into different creative processes as an artist’s tool. It is suitable for ceramics, woodworking, and other studio practices, and can be used for dusting or clearing surfaces.

It can also take part in mixed media work, creating loose, breathable surface effects in wet paint, ink, or plaster; gently sweeping debris in printmaking or collage; or cleaning edges in sculptural processes, while also acting as a mark-making tool in the formation of surfaces.

Its flexible and resilient fibres allow for both light touch and applied pressure, preserving the subtle variations of hand movement in use.
